Wadi Arab Water System II Project (Water Treatment Plant and Water Transmission System)
The construction, testing, and commissioning of Wadi Arab Water System II Project, situated in northern region of Jordan, undertaken by the Mapa-Özaltın Joint Venture, with completion in 2020. The facility features a treated water capacity of 30 million m3 per year and 82,000 m3/day. The project encompasses the establishment of 4 pumping stations and steel water pipeline at the length of 25.6 kilometers (Dia. 1,200 mm). Key components of the facility comprise a water intake building, pre-sedimentation and sedimentation basins, filtering, chemical addition and dewatering units, gravity thickeners and distribution units, sludge pumping stations and sludge ponds, drying beds, measuring stations, and water tanks.
