Gebze - Orhangazi - İzmir Motorway, İzmir - Manisa Section
The project is located at the final section of The Gebze-Orhangazi-İzmir Motorway Project (including Osmangazi Bridge and Access Roads) tendered as a Build-Operate-Transfer model.
Manisa-İzmir section, spanning from Km: 352+000 to Km: 408+654 of the Gebze-Orhangazi-İzmir Motorway, covers a length of approximately 56.5 kilometers with a platform width of 35.5 meters, 2x3 lane, was completed and inaugurated on November 21st, 2018.
The project’s scope includes construction of 1 tunnel with a length of 1,600 meters, 6 graded intersections, 2 toll collection areas, 1 service area, 1 operation-maintenance center (OMC), 2 viaducts with a total length of 2,600 meters, 52 underpasses and overpasses, and 90 culverts. In addition, the project encompasses the completion of the Kemalpaşa Access Road, a 2x2 lane, 6.5 kilometers stretch, and the Turgutlu Access Road, a 2x2 lane, 6.5 kilometers stretch. Furthermore, reconstruction of a 1.67 kilometers state road and construction of a 14.5 kilometers long asphalt-paved secondary road were undertaken. Notably, 17 million m3 of excavation works, 16 million m3 of filling works, along with 2.66 million tons of cold-mix and 1.27 million tons of hot-mix asphalt pavement works have been carried out within the scope of the project.
