The new residential area to be built will include apartments of different sizes, as well as a primary school, secondary school, shops, restaurants, cafes, medical center, pharmacy, sports facility, social and cultural complexes, and a hotel. The residential area, which will accommodate more than 6000 people, will also be equipped with a common recreation area for all residents. The project will be implemented in three phases and is planned to be completed by the end of 2025.

In a statement to Russian television channel Kanal 24 about the project, our CEO Muzaffer Özdemir emphasized that the location of the residential area was well chosen. He said, “It is located not far from the sea, and is also quite close to Silifke and Taşucu. The settlement is also located not far from the sea and is also quite close to Silifke and Taşucu. The settlement is also located between two major international airports, Antalya and Çukurova. So, it is quite advantageous for those living in these cities. As Özaltın Construction, we are also building the main section of the Mersin-Antalya coastal highway. After the construction of this highway is completed, transportation from any airport to the residential area will be much easier and more comfortable.”

Özdemir indicated that the construction of the residential area will be carried out in three phases, saying, “We have extensive experience in designing and constructing of residential complexes. After the completion of the first phase, we plan to put into operation more than 800 apartments, a primary school for 1000 students, and a kindergarten for 450 children. When all three phases are completed, there will be more than 2700 apartments in total, and the area of the settlement will be more than 700,000 m².”

The project undertaken by Özaltın Construction is considered to be an important step that will improve the quality of life for Akkuyu JSC employee and contribute to the social and economic development of the region.
