Construction works started with the signature of the contract in August 2023. Although the contract duration was 18 months, it is completed in 14 months, 4 months before the delivery time. Completed part of the Express Road is 17.7 kilometers including totally 1,184 meters long 15 bridges. In the inauguration ceremony, the Minister of Transportation Sorin Mihai Grindeanu, Mayor of Craiova Lila Olguta Vasilescu, General Director of CNAIR (General Directorate of Highways) Cristian Pistol, Deputy General Director of CNAIR Felician Cernestean and the directors for the related departments of CNAIR with Chairman of the Board of Özaltın Holding Hayrettin Özaltın and Construction Group Coordinator Mustafa Hakan Acunsal were presented. As Özaltın, we are proud to deliver such a project before its delivery time and to be able to support the Romanian road network.
